We were all surprised to learn that singer KZ Tandingan married fellow singer/songwriter TJ Monterde over a month ago, August 28 at The Farm at San Benito. The internet exploded with photos of their enchanting wedding yesterday after the Monterdes dropped the news with a new music video.
There’s much to ogle at about TJ and KZ’s wedding, but here’s our top six! Which one of these are you thinking of including in your wedding?

1. Their announcement.
True to their personalities and passions, the couple included their wedding in their music video—or did they create a music video out of their wedding? Whichever it was, we can’t stop singing the song and we predict it’ll be a popular choice for upcoming weddings!
2. KZ’s pantsuit.
She’d already said in an interview early this year that she wants to wear one to her wedding, and she made that happen! This double-breasted suit was by Light Shine White. She wore a slightly similar look to her prenup shoot in Tokyo by Oak St. Studios but for her wedding, KZ skipped the inner blouse which gave it a modern and sexy vibe.
3. Matchmaker ninong Martin Nievera.
KZ said in her Instagram that it was bittersweet her parents couldn’t make it to the wedding but she was “thankful that my other dad, @martinnievera, stepped in to give me away.” The two are said to have met through Nievera and KZ shyly asked him to be their ninong on Magandang Buhay.
4. The TV setup.
More and more weddings are incorporating TVs and projector screens. The couple can also see and interact with their virtual guests. It’s not one way where the guests are the only ones watching the event.
5. That reception setup and performance.
Talk about breathtaking! As if the venue isn’t magical enough, Gideon Hermosa’s fairy-light covered reception area made the couple’s celebration area look like it’s straight out of a movie set. We also love that the couple took the stage. This is definitely a trend we’re seeing more and more. Intimate weddings are allowing couples to be more casual in their reception programs.
6. First kiss.
Stylist Gideon Hermosa posted a video of TJ and KZ’s first kiss on his Instagram and you can see how nervous the bride was—and how excited the groom was.
