Anthony Espinueva and Tanya Therese Ilmedo found it a shame that the traditional Filipino culture doesn’t get enough love these days. To incorporate our country’s beloved heritage into their engagement shoot, the two opted to visit five historical locations in stunning Vigan which included the abel loom weaving and pagburnayan pottery sites to capture the glamour and charm of the olden days. With kundiman music setting the mood, the pair in full Spanish colonial period regalia depicted scenes of the traditional Filipino ligawan and tipanan, their way of paying homage to their Ilocano roots. The pictorial session concluded with a romantic moonlit stroll along Calle Crisologo where their photographer captured the lovers’ sweet moments.
