On July 3, 2025, the Manila Marriott Grand Ballroom was abuzz as members of the Wedding & Portrait Photographers of the Philippines (WPPP) from across the archipelago converged for the inaugural “Marry Me @ Marriott Photo Competition”. This innovative contest, part of Marriott Moments, celebrated the union of visual artistry and bridal couture on the heels of Marriott’s 11th‑anniversary showcase. This photo competition is a collaboration of Themes & Motifs, Inspirations.PH, Wedding and Portrait Photographers of the Philippines (WPPP), and Marriott Bonvoy.
📸 A Collision of Talent & Vision
For the first time ever, the prestigious WPPP—home to globally‑recognized wedding photographers—teamed up with Themes & Motifs and Marriott Bonvoy. Twenty elite WPPP photographers, including WPPP President Val Porras and contest chair Bogs Ignacio and, were on the scene to immortalize the energy and elegance of the runway, spotlighting bridal and behind‑the‑scenes moments alike.

🎨 Behind the Glamour
This edition doubled as a celebration of Gideon Hermosa’s 15-year design legacy. With Hermosa at the forefront, a glittering lineup of Filipino bridal couturiers—Michael Leyva, Francis Libiran, Vania Romoff, Rajo Laurel, Michael Cinco, and Mak Tumang—lit up the runway . Their creations provided a lush, dramatic backdrop for WPPP’s artistic lens.

🌍 A National Gathering
WPPP members from different provinces of the country showcased their regional perspectives and storytelling, uniting under one ballroom. Their participation reaffirmed WPPP’s mission: to elevate Filipino wedding photography on the global stage.
