Themes & Motifs, in partnership with the Department of Tourism, brought top wedding suppliers to Bohol. This is on a capacity building mission to help Bohol wedding suppliers make Bohol a wedding destinations and prenup / predebut photoshoot capital.
While billeted in the Bohol Beach Club, the top wedding suppliers in Manila had sumptuous lunches and dinners in full wedding banquet set ups in the following chic venues:
1. Bohol Bee Farm – Most memorable: their wide array of rich ice cream flavors served on home made chips shaped into cones.
2. Bluewater Panglao – Most memorable: Kanapay (ube) – inspired menu (i.e. Ube Shepherd’s Pie, ube empanaditas,
3. Loboc River Wedding Cruise – Most memorable: the incredible lush setting of the Loboc River and its river bank, the Sabaw Kabaw (carabeef soup) and a moving wedding cermony (literally and figuratively) aboard the Amore II river boat.
4, The Bellevue Resort – Most memorable: Filipino cuisine at its finest complete with grilled panga ng tuna and enjoyable acoustic trio band. Plus, free seated after dinner massage while jamming with the acoustic band.
5. Modala – Most memorable: the fusion lunch cuisine against a wedding set up of white flowers and a spectacular ocean view.
6. South Palms – Most memorable: a plated dinner featuring a classic surf and turf combo of prawns and beef amid a set up of verdant elephant ears leaves and candelabra with burning candles perfect for beach weddings.
