The Wedding and Portrait Photographers of the Philippines (WPPP) made history at the first Marry Me @ Marriott Photo Competition. For the first time, WPPP’s top photographers were invited to officially capture a live bridal couture showcase — featuring celebrated designers like Michael Cinco — within the prestigious Marry Me @ Marriott event to celebrate world-class event stylist Gideon Hermosa’s 15th year anniversary, combining wedding fashion, luxury styling, and professional wedding photography in one landmark collaboration.

The ballroom dazzled with Gideon Hermosa’s luxurious wall treatments. cascading chandeliers, and soft fabrics in his signature architectural drapery sculpted and shaped to mimic structural installations, creating sweeping forms that guide the eye and define space. This grand setting transformed every runway walk into a vision of romance and elegance. Such was the case in one of the evening’s highlights — seeing Michael Cinco’s breathtaking gowns command the runway.

Cinco’s name alone inspires respect in fashion capitals from Dubai to Paris. When his masterpieces appeared at the Marry Me @ Marriott – Gideon Hermosa Anniversary Edition, cameras clicked like a symphony of dreams. Cinco’s gowns stunned with intricate embroidery, crystals, and regal silhouettes.

WPPP photographers knew every second mattered to capture each delicate detail. Angles, lighting, and timing had to match Cinco’s modern fairytale vision. For many photographers, shooting Michael Cinco was a career milestone moment. They waited for the perfect swirl of fabric under chandeliers that glowed like starlight. Some whispered each click captured a fairytale frozen forever in a frame. Its like every shot kept a bride’s dream alive for generations to come.

Themes & Motifs and Marriott Bonvoy raised the bar with this remarkable showcase of couture and artistry captured in images through a groundbreaking photo competition featuring the country’s premiere association of wedding photographers. Hermosa’s drapes, lights, and styling gave every photo a romantic touch. Each image captured not just gowns but Filipino bridal artistry at its best.
