As part of the #WeddingsInBohol capacity building campaign conducted by Themes & Motifs and the Department of Tourism, here is one sample output of Bohol wedding suppliers which features a TRADITIONAL BOHOLANO WEDDING in San Isidro Labrador Church in Garcia – Hernandez, Bohol.
This beautiful church with an intricately carved wooden altar and a ceiling painted with religious scenes reminiscent of the Sistine Chapel ni Rome is located uphill in a very remote barangay in Garcia Hernandez. While not for the non-adventurous, the trip to this is across rice fields, narrow roads, and lush vegetation which calls to mind the early days of Caleruega in Batangas.
