A Sacred Space, A Sacred Moment
In an era where celebrity weddings are often public productions, Zeinab and Ray chose a different path. Guests were gently asked to surrender their phones or switch to SIM-blocked devices—a bold move that spoke volumes about the couple’s values. “We wanted our wedding to be a sacred moment, not a show,” Zeinab shared, echoing her longstanding wish to keep the most important chapters of her life grounded and real.
The atmosphere was reverent yet celebratory. With rich burgundy as their wedding motif and a floral-lined silver runway that led to the altar, the venue radiated quiet elegance. Just over 100 guests were invited—family, closest friends, and select personalities who have stood by the couple through the years. Emotional moments flowed freely, with tears of joy seen on the faces of bridesmaids, sponsors, and guests.
A Love Built on Restoration
Ray and Zeinab’s love story began in 2023 during a chapter of deep emotional healing. “I wasn’t looking for love,” Zeinab revealed in her vows. “I was running away from it.”
But Ray showed up with patience, kindness, and consistency. He waited, listened, and helped her heal at her own pace.
In July 2024, he proposed with the help of Events by Miss P, surrounded by family in a moment filled with warmth. Two months later, Zeinab surprised him with her own proposal during a trip to Japan.
Their story—real, raw, and rooted in faith—touched many.
Captured by People Who Truly Matter
To document the day, Zeinab and Ray chose storytellers they trust and love.
Charisse Tinio, the visionary founder of Nice Print Photography has been with the couple through many milestones. As a longtime collaborator and now a principal sponsor, her presence was both personal and significant. Her team beautifully captured Zeinab and Ray’s engagement, prenup shoots in Dubai and Osaka, and now, their most important day yet.
Jason Magbanua brought the ceremony to life in motion with his signature storytelling style. His wedding film captured not just the vows, but the quiet, unfiltered love shared between Ray, Zeinab, and their blended family. (Watch the same-day edit below.)

A Ceremony That Felt Like Home
Their wedding day was a celebration of family as much as it was of love. Zeinab walked down the aisle with her father, while her daughter Bia served as the flower girl and son Lucas as the ring bearer. Ray, dressed in a sleek all-black suit, was supported by his mother, siblings, and the memory of his late father, Bobby Ray Parks Sr., whose reserved seat at the reception was a quiet, moving tribute.
Real Vows, Real Feels
Zeinab’s vow was raw and vulnerable. She thanked Ray for being the calm she never thought she’d find and for giving her space to grow, trust, and believe in love again. “I’ll wait for you, always,” she said, acknowledging the tough reality of long-distance love in the basketball world—but also her unwavering commitment to their life together.
Ray didn’t hold back either. What started as admiration for Zeinab’s strength quickly turned into deep, genuine love. His promise? To be the kind of husband and father who loves loudly, protects fiercely, and prays faithfully. He made his vows not just to Zeinab, but to Bia and Lucas too. “I will be the best father I can be,” he vowed, sealing the moment not just as a husband, but as a true family man.
A Quiet Wedding, A Loud Love
Everything about their wedding day felt aligned with their values—sacred, sincere, and joyfully real. After the ceremony, Zeinab danced with her closest friends, proving that even a quiet wedding can be full of laughter and celebration.
From the proposal to the prenup, from vows to the afterparty, Ray and Zeinab reminded us all: True love doesn’t have to be loud. It just has to be real.
One Team, One Love
More than a wedding, it was a declaration of love, loyalty, and faith. Zeinab and Ray didn’t just bring two hearts together—they brought two families, two lives, and one future into alignment. And now?
Their happily ever after begins. #ZEINABfoundherRAYtOne
