Gracing the finale with their presence and heartfelt support for John Ablaza were several distinguished guests who share deep personal and artistic ties with the designer. Among them was Junever West, former Philippine Ambassador to France, who attended with her husband John West, and Minney Reyes, a direct descendant and great-great-grandniece of national hero Dr. José Rizal. Also present was Arthur Tselischev, a multifaceted creative force known for his success as a model, painter, interior decorator, and photographer—an embodiment of the same passion for art and heritage that defines Ablaza’s work.

Their presence at the show underscored the far-reaching influence of Ablaza’s artistry and the enduring relationships he has cultivated across borders and disciplines.

The runway wasn’t just a visual feast—it was deeply personal. Ablaza dedicated the show as a heartfelt tribute to four women who shaped his journey and spirit as a designer. At the heart of it all was his grandmother, whom he lovingly calls his first teacher in fashion, having taught him the fundamentals of craftsmanship and creativity. His mother, whose artistic DNA he proudly carries, passed down to him not only talent but the soul of expression through design. And standing beside him every step of the way were his sisters, Becky and Miriam, whose unwavering support—from his earliest sketches to the global runways—helped propel him to the peak of his career.

In honoring them, Ablaza reminded the audience that fashion, at its core, is rooted in gratitude, family, and legacy.
