You and your fiance/e should decide whether you want your ceremony or reception venue to determine the look and feel or theme of your wedding or the other way around.
Here are some choices apart from the obvious church, chapel, cathedral; temple, mosque, sanctuary or other religious edifices for the wedding ceremony:
