‘Be positive, be open, and find a good team of suppliers’
John Vincent C. Doce and Rhodaleen M. Navallo’s save the date and prenup shoot revolved around the things that brought them together as a couple–coffee date, card games, and gifting each other donuts. Alen says this concept was suggested by their photographers, Artistree Pinas Photography, which the couple loved. “We were happy to look back on the things that built our relationship and also, it was fun to do.”
Alen shares below a bit more about their engagement shoot and how they made the most fun out of accomplishing this ‘wedding to-do’:

What was the concept of your engagement shoot?
Things that brought us close to each other.
We created many themes and concepts that we were willing to do. Originally it was supposed to be a horror suspense theme catching the essence of the game Dead By Daylight. But we saw that it did not embody the main purpose of our matrimony. We wanted our Save the Date to be something about us as a couple. Artistree Pinas made this pitch: that it should be about how we met, how our relationship started, when did we know that we are for each other, what are the things that we do, what are the struggles that we have faced, and who we are as a couple. We accepted the proposal and we just wanted to include the things that brought us closer to each other. Playing games, drinking coffee, bringing doughnuts when we first met, playing board games, and just hanging out.
We were happy to look back on the things that built our relationship and also, it was fun to do.

Tell us about your planning process. How did you put it together? How did you collaborate with your suppliers?
We made many proposals and collaborated with our photographer and videographer. We searched for good places in AirBnB and it also served as our outing with my sisters. Our makeup and photo and video team were awesome. They were fun to work with and very flexible. We couldn’t order food from the usual apps because of the location, and the make up team was very kind to assist us in ordering. The photo and video teams were very joyful and fun. They were very flexible with our requests and very positive all throughout the shoot.
What advice or tips can you give to couples planning their prenup photoshoot during this time?
Be positive, don’t be shy, be open to anything and find a good team of suppliers preferably that work well together. A great location is important but we can also make the location beautiful in our own ways.
