Michael Paul G. Rita and Rempin May Angeli T. Espinosa met in high school and 12 years after becoming a couple, Mico proposed to Rempin. The couple planned to have a rustic themed wedding but adjusted their plans given the situation. “We already changed our date thrice because of Covid but we decided to pursue it so that we could move on to another plan by 2021. Covid can’t stop us from marrying each other,” Rempin says.
The newlyweds were married December 10, 2020 at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Their reception was held at Bayfront Hotel.

“As much as we want to invite everyone, we cannot because we value everyone’s safety. We were polite when we explained the situation to friends and family and we were happy to receive positive responses,” Rempin says.
“The planning was a rollercoaster ride but what prevailed is the happiness that finally, after months of preparation, it’s happening! Everything was just so magical. If I were given a chance to repeat one of the happiest moments of my life, it would be our wedding. Everything was surrel,” the bride says.
