Actress Empress Schuck married Vino Guingona last Saturday March 6. Their intimate garden wedding took place at Hillcreek Gardens Tagaytay.
Gideon Hermosa styled the ceremony and reception venue with an all-white floral theme, which he also did for Empress’ bridal bouquet. For the bridal look, the actress and mother of one wore a custom made Aoui Regala gown with hand-sewn pearls, beads, and Swarovski crystals made in less than two months. The designer reveals that the bride originally wanted a minimalist gown but after seeing Regala’s previous work, simple beadwork was added onto the dress. “Simple but elegant just like her,” Regala says in her Instagram post.
Empress also wore custommade bejeweled heels with a bow detail by Shoepatos by Doreen Odvina. For her makeup, Robbie Piñera gave her a sunkissed glow and Raymond Santiago completed the look with a half updo.
Vino and Empress’ reception was catered by Juan Carlo the Caterer and Nice Print Photography covered the wedding. The newlyweds were engaged in September 2020 when Vino surprised Empress by proposing during their daughter Athalia’s Frozen-themed fifth birthday party.

“My Love, My Everything. Thank you for Inspiring me everyday to be the best Dad, The best partner and the best person that I can be. Thank you for Loving me for who I am and accepting me as your partner for the rest of your life. I Love you and always will.
Thank you, Heavenly Father for this wonderful moment. Thank you for the gift of Love and Family.”
Empress’ Matron of Honor, Camille Navarro Makasiar, shared this on her Instagram post of the couple’s wedding:
“The road wasn’t always smooth and easy for Empress and Vino. There were challenges, heartaches and trials but they were only mere chapters of the story of Empress. Those chapters had to happen for the story to eventually lead us all here today. The beginning of Empress’ happily ever after. Neil, Lance and I are wishing you both only the best! Our home will always be your safe place.”

A video post of one of Vino and Empress’ friends showed Empress promising forever to her groom: “I know if I submit to you, it is really the Lord who I’m submitting to. Because from this day forward, you will be representing Him. So I will give my hundred percent trust in you for He is your foundation. I will become better for you. I will respect you. I will always choose to love you every day,”
Congratulations to the Guingonas!
