- Celebrity wedding photographer Nice Print Photo‘s first major sponsorship of a bridal fair is Themes & Motifs The Philippine Wedding Summit in 2006 followed by Wedding Expo Philippines in September of the same year.
- Wedding Expo Philippines is the first bridal fair ever to be held outside of a hotel way back in 2001. Themes & Motifs wanted to organize a bridal fair that is inclusive and comprehensive to include wedding suppliers that hotel bridal fairs do not accept such as caterers, other hotels, venues, etc.
The Top Booker and Top Grosser Awards
- were “invented’ Themes & Motifs for the very first Wedding Expo Philippines in 2001. This was to encourage soon-to-weds to book onsite. Prior to that, all bridal fairs were largely window shopping experiences for couples. Wedding Expo Philippines’ Top Booker & Top Grosser Awards spurred the entrepreneurial spirit of wedding suppliers. It also shone the limelight on the lucrative, creative, & highly innovative local wedding industry.
- To date, Wedding Expo Philippines is the only bridal fair that base its Top Booker & Top Grosser awards on verifiable Official Receipts submitted by soon-to-weds rather than arbitrary numbers nominated by wedding suppliers.
Grand Food Tasting
- “Grand Food Tasting” is a phrase “invented” by Themes & Motifs for Josiah’s Catering. It was for the first ever grand food tasting session held in Wedding Expo Philippines.

- Popular wedding ring supplier Goldenhills Jewelry’s first ever bridal fair participation was in Wedding Expo Philippines.
- Prior to the pandemic, Wedding Expo Philippines was the biggest and most comprehensive bridal fair not only in the Philippines but in Asia. It occupied 6,000 sqm of the SMX Mall of Asia and with over 400 exhibitors.
- Wedding Expo Philippines continues to be the longest running and most respected bridal fair in the country. Themes & Motifs remains to be the most prestigious bridal fair organizer trusted by wedding professionals and corporate entities. - Wedding Expo Philippines is the first bridal fair to have used The PICC Forum and the World Trade Center as a bridal fair venue. They were alternatives to its very first venue, the now defunct NBC Tent at the Bonifacio Global City. It has called SMX Mall of Asia its home since 2010.
