Michael & Marie’s T&M Moment

When and where better to pop the question than at the biggest wedding fair in Asia? That’s right! Clever groom-to-be, John Michael Tolentino, looked no further than Wedding Expo Philippines to come up with a unique way to ask his special girl, Marissa Arcega, to marry him. The two were part of the event organizing team, so it was perfectly natural for Marie to be surrounded by all these wedding-related paraphernalia and be none the wiser.

Following the proposal plan, the unsuspecting Marie was asked to leave her client relations station to assist with the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the event. After thanking the sponsors and featuring a soon-to-wed couple, the emcee called on Michael who, in turn, asked Marie to go along with him. He then presented her with flowers and got down on his knees to ask the most important question of the moment, “Will you marry me?” With all that wedding moods and good vibes around, of course she said, “Yes!”
