Tip: Book local photographers when you travel
It’s been a year since actor and TV host Luis Manzano married fellow actor Jessy Mendiola at an intimate garden wedding at Lipa, Batangas. For their first anniversary, the Manzanos vacationed at Boracay.
Jessy and Luis also celebrated this milestone with a quick portrait session with Nice Print Photography. Jessy wrote in her Instagram post for her husband:

Based on Jessy’s Instagram account, the couple shot their portraits at Crimson Resort & Spa Boracay. Jessy and Luis wore casual resort wear to their portraits. Jessy in particular, wore Boom Sason Quick Custom.
Jessy shares on her Instagram stories that Luis gifted her with an emerald cut solitaire diamond ring by Manila Diamond Studio for the special occasion.
If you’re celebrating your first (or any!) wedding anniversary this year, why not make like Jessy and Luis and make a quick photo session out of it? This idea is perfect for couples who first, weren’t able to go on a trip away from their homes for a honeymoon.
It’s also a great option for couples who kept their weddings simple and might not have much couple portraits from their wedding day, perhaps because lockdowns were stricter when you were married.

But if you did have a honeymoon and you did have photo and video coverage on your wedding day, we’re not going to say you should skip this idea. Because we’re all for making and capturing memories beautifully!
Here’s a tip: If you’re traveling and want professional photographs taken during your vacation, book local photographers so you don’t have to think about their travel plans. Checking out online bridal fairs is a great way to meet different suppliers based all over the Philippines and get great discounts.
Just a one or two hour session is more than enough for a casual shoot just like Jessy and Luis’ first anniversary shoot.
