The Processional (Option 2)

Option 1 here

OPTION 2: Bride Marches Solo
  1. Priest / pastor
  2. Best Man
  3. Groom (solo)
    1. Alternatively: Groom with parents of the Groom
    2.  Alternatively: Groom walks ahead of parents of the Groom
    3. Alternatively: Parents of the Groom walks ahead of the Groom
  4. Principal Sponsors
  5. Ninong / Ninang (At least one pair. Maximum number depends on your chosen ceremony venue’s restrictions.)
  6. Bridesmaids / Groomsmen
  7. Secondary Sponsors
    1. Candle sponsors
    2. Veil sponsors
    3. Cord sponsors
  8. Maid of Honor
  9. Parents of the bride
  10. Symbol bearers (traditionally, toddler boys)
    1. Bible bearer
    2. Ring bearer
    3. Coin bearer
  11. Flower girls (Number depends on your personal preference. 1 to 3 are usually preferred but adding a few more may be cute in photos. In the pandemic, however, kids may be prohibited from weddings.). Flower petals may be dropped a few pieces at a time by the flower girls as they walk towards the altar.
  12. Bride

Note:
There can be variations to these Options as the processional depends on the bride and groom’s preference. Example, the maid of honor may come immediately before the bride (traditionally, the role of the maid of honor is to assist the bride in all her needs: hold the bouquet when the bride needs to fix herself, make sure the bridal gown’s train and veil are always photographable, ready with tissue for any eventuality that needs it, etc).  The priest or pastor may also not be part of the processional.
Bride can’t decide whether to walk solo or with her parents?   She can enjoy her own glorious moment while still able to honor her parents by having them walk her down the aisle to meet her groom.
Here’s how:   Have the bride walk solo until halfway to the altar where she will be met by the parents before continuing the bridal march. Problem solved! 🙂
