What we know from their surprise wedding announcement
Through a vlog posted on August 7, 2021, Saturday on their channel The Angel and Neil Channel, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce announced that they couple tied the knot. The episode entitled Lipat Bahay Gang shows Angel and Neil packing their things to prepare to move in together. But before the video ends, they drop the bomb: “Oh by the way… since filming this vlog, we decided not to wait and just do It. We got married!!!” A photo of the couple by Nice Print Photography ends the vlog.
Angel and Neil were engaged in June 2019 and their initial wedding plans of getting married on November 8, 2020 changed. The couple was married by Mayor Lino Cayetano of Taguig City. Angel was dressed in a white blazer, jeans, and sneakers and held a small bouquet while Neil wore a white sweatshirt and paired it with sneakers as well.

In their latest vlog, Angel and Neil talk to some of their loved ones and ask them advice on getting married. Patricia Co Keng, Angel’s manager and a newlywed herself says “Hindi siya puwede na about you nalang. Always mong iisipin na merong someone else. Hindi siya as easy, ‘Tara mag-asawa na tayo’. It’s more about commitment. It’s not I, it’s we na talaga.” Mike Bawa, Angel’s makeup artist says the secret to a long-lasting relationship is respect.
Neil on the other hand gets a bit of grilling plus sage advice from his mom Jean, who joins him in the episode to help him pack. She says, “Advice ko: best thing, maging under ka. Sundin mo lahat ng gusto ni Angel, para masaya kayo. Ikaw ang mag-asikaso ng bahay. Ikaw ang mag-asikaso kay Angel. ‘Pag nagka-anak kayo, ikaw ang dapat mapuyat, hindi si Angel. Kung gusto mo masaya wife mo, ipag-shopping mo siya.”
